440 core prices

What do you guys think is a reasonable price for a good 440 core? Seems like there's such a broad price range online from $75 to $2000 and most of the ones in the upper price range haven't been cleaned, magnaflux'. Or come with a crank.

I paid $1,000 for a complete running 440 in 2008
Then 2 years ago I received a complete running 1969 440 for free

I have a complete 75 440 i'll take $250. for Throw a 400 short bblock in for another $100.

A complete 440 around here, which usually came from a motorhome, is $400, and that's complete with accessories and usually a 727 transmission.

Car engine cores are usually in the $300 range but I've seen lots selling for more... and selling forever because no one buys them.

I think 3-$500 is the norm unless your looking for a date coded core.
