I recently bought a 440 hp block and have everything identified number wise but wondered if anyone might know what the car was that his block originally came out of.
The pan rail stamping is OB130628. This tells me that its a 70 vehicle, from Dodge main Hamtramck MI plant, then the last six of the vin are 130628.
Anyone have a good guess? I'd love to reunite this motor with it's original car.
Thanks, Dan

Your guess is as good as anyone elses.
Those last digits are simply the sequence number.
Shot in the day dark but certainly worth the effort!

Well:
We know a thing or two...
1. Not a Six Pack block, so, it wasn't a Superbee
2. Could be a Coronet, Charger, Big Monaco, Challenger.....
