440 oil pan

I need a passenger oil pan. What is the stock pan capacity? 4 quart? 6? Other?

Depends of what 440 you have. run of the mill passenger car 440 should be a 4qt pan the 5th qt is added due to the filter.
A 5qt pan will use 6qt total with the filter , Like a V code { 6 pack } 440 ect.

Only thing it doesn't tell you is what their capacities are. I can tell you that the 187/699 is a 4 +1 for filter (total of 5 quarts).

They have a pan that looks factory and holds 6 qts. of oil, I use it and so my total is 6 in the pan, 1 in the filter.
