Looking for some recommendations regarding pushrods for my 440 build. I will be running a 292/509 with Crane Ductile Adjustable rockers. It's my understanding they have to have a "cup" at one end.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Eric

I have a set of ball and cup "new" 440 push rods that I won't be using(doing a B engine instead) I believe are 3/8''thick.
Pm me if you want.

Do you plan on using a pushrod length checker first? Correct valve train geometry is very important. Be mindful of the rocker arm manufacturers recommended adjuster thread depth.
Manton is also a good high quality pushrod manufacturer. I've used them for years with no complaints. Great customer service.

Ive been using Trend Performance for pushrods and wrist pins for the last 8 yrs or so, great to work with over the phone, fair pricing, ship fast too.

Got 16 on the way from Manton to replace one with broken end and all the others right away. One on the right has the lower ball missing. Al @ Manton says mine are 5/16. I asked for a higher quality than the one sent for sizing. He recommended going up in size by 15 thou. Looking for reliability in a 70k, 30 over, 415 rwhp motor.
12.84ea x 16= 205.40. 2 days.

Did you find the bottom ball?

Ya know, ya could have left it in there and told everyone you have a 12valve Cummins! Lol!!!

I went with Smith Brothers and never had a reason to try other brands. Great service, quality, and fast delivery.
