4738S carter 440 auto dated L9

If the 4738 is the correct carb, no reason why not. My jack is an L9.

L9 Seems too late. Usually has a 2-3 month lead time on carburetors. These cars were not a surprise, they new they were going to build them. And they made a lot of 440 4bbl HP engines in all the body styles.

High use carb=plan ahead.
