for sale is my just broken in with street miles no racing mega block hemi/wedge motor. maybe 200 miles on fresh build going to just 3 car shows since building it.....Reason for selling !? im replacing this with a 540" hemi.
so,
started with with a MP 2001 service replacement block listed in that years MP catalog..Crossbolted mains.
bore is at 4.40 (xtra thick cylinders will go an easy 4.50, i had it sonic checked) with a 4.15 Molnar crank and 6.86 molnar rods with 2000 bolts, 504.xx inches.
race tech 2316 flat tops at -.010 deck height. compression with trickflow 270's = 11.3-1
file fit rings set at .025
arp studs added to the mains and line honed in place.
main and rod bearings set at .003 by machine shop.
S&S machine did all the work in san leandro.
new also milodon full cover gear drive all set up with a solid roller CC camshaft, dont like the came pull the front cover Plate off and change cam Not the full cover gear drive. its that easy.
cam is .678 lift and 272-276 @ .050. i run 4 gallons of pump gas with 1 gallon of 110 sunoco.
trickflow 270's new also with 1.6 T&D rockers set up by B3 racing engines.
manton pushrods with isky redzone Bushed EZ rolls just rebuilt new everything also...
the picture's show those coveted cross bolted main bolts !
WILL SEll as a long or shortblock no external accessory's,oil pump.pan, water pump. distributor. carbs. etc. because they will all bolt onto the hemi..
shortblock 12500.00
long block 16000.00 No intake.
modified crossram 2500.00.
motor will be out by end of week. 1st pic shows how far i got today in the removal process.
pick up here or i can palletize it and take it to a shipper of Your choice within 100 miles after its paid for..
motor is in the 95062 area.
