62-65 Dodge and Plymouth Car Show

When I was taking auto shop courses at Chaffey (JC in so cal) we had an El Camino that was donated by GM. It had fallen off a transporter and rolled. As a donation it couldn't be registered, so it became the school's bracket racer.
Chaffey's body shop fixed the body, and the race team did the rest.
Reason for this story? It had a pair of 15x4 real MAGNESIUM torque thrusts on it.They corroded if you looked funny at em. But man, they weighed next to nuthin!

As ugly as a 62 is. I prefer them over a 63 for the so ugly, it's cool philosophy.... So, I like a 62 over a 63, then a 64 over a 63 also, then a 65 over a 64. However, I will take any of the 4 years if the price was right.

When I first started looking at early B's I loved the 65 Coronets. But, something about that flat front end wasn't right though. Look at those 64 Polara's and 440's. (330's as well if you can find one. Love the simplicity of a post car) They have some curves. An old school looking front and back without the quirky looks of the 62 and 63's.

I have the same kind of luck. Like the saying goes 'The more people I am around more I like my dogs'.
