has anyone here used the repop junk they sell and got your doors to close corectly?.if so please let me know what you did.everything i have tried has failed.:angryfire:

Yes and the doors are a b**** to close for about the first 100 times, give or take, lol. Seriously, they take awhile to "seat" and so slamming is in order.....at least mine was that way and now they require less force to close.

i have used it but really dont want to tell you the results of it for reasons you already know why?:thebirdman:

I bent the lip slightly on my 63 but that was 15yrs ago. I hear Joe Suchy has windlace that is better but can't vouch for that as I personally haven't seen or used his. I worked my way around slowly with a dolly when I did mine

I got mine from Kramer. The doors were a little stiff at first but close perfect now. my doors are gutted as well so they're kind of flexible. Didn't seem to bother the gaps.

Seen some on Van's auto ebay store.I've bought some stuff from them.

I tried the stuff from Van's and decided to return it because of what you are talking about. I found out that JC auto had some NOS in stock and the right color for me. Works perfect. No slamming.

thanks everyone for the responces.i have got them to close better and believe they will get better with time.to bad jc auto does not have red in stock. i would buy it.not to bad a price for nos .
