Hi ,

Just wondering what the best way to go is to get a bit more performance out of my stock 318 poly.

Its original and on historic plates here in Australia so I need to still look fairly original.
Better carby and exhaust ?
Cheers Sean

Here is some light reading from Gary Pavlovich. 4bbl cast intake is an easy choice as well as a new camshaft...

Mate, if you're using your car as a street cruiser and not a drag car then the 318 poly will serve you well. You don't need a big block! As you know the speed limits here are pretty low, so for the street you just need a nice sounding engine with plenty of low down torque. Gary supplied me with heaps of parts for my poly, he's a real gentleman to deal with. Mine runs great, sounds awesome and is fast enough for what I use it for. If you like I can pm you a list of what I bought and the prices. In the states the poly doesn't seem to attract much interest, but here in Australia everyone will love it!

Poly's are getting more popular. I did up the one in my 64 Belvedere.Intake, carb, headers and duals from TTI.Made a big difference. My buddy stroked his to 390 in his 64 Dodge Wagon. It hauls in more ways than one !

Using voice to text if it looks weird
