Im trying to find out where the drains are for my cowl. Are there opening under the fenders? I know my kids early falcon has nice big drain openings there.
On the pass side behind the fender. None on the driver's side. The cowl is kind of sloped toward the pass side. Running a garden hose through the pass side drain into the cowl usually does the trick.
What I've done in the past with really embedded crud is drill a hole in the driver's side cowl (behind the fender where it can't be seen) and flush the cowl with a pressure washer. I then used a plastic body plug in the hole.
thanks guys. I have the drivers side splash shield off from just fixing the door hinges. man what a pain doing the alignment with the fender on. Might as well pull them both off and clean them up and do the cowl at the same time.
Wow what a mess that was.after feeding my airline and blower thru the whole cowl. Now I know where the heater a/c ir inlet is. Now to clean all the leaves out from there.
I know on my 65 belvedere there is a cowl drain on the driver side ,on mine if you open the door and look inside the fender near the top, then a little to your right,on the cowl, there is a little dome ,that is the drain for the left side.i made sure i unplugged mine.im repairing my inner cowl with the dash out ,so thats how i found it.Hope i explaned it okay ,if not let me know and i will try again.LOL
Still don't see it. I sold this 65 unit last year and the white 64 this year so I can't just run out for a looksee. Also just sold my 65 Satellite. Do you have a pic of yours?

So what did you learn today Mark? 64 and 65 cowl plates are different.
