O.K. I think I already know the answer, but I am hoping someone can provide me with a better way of replacing the dash speaker on my 1965 Plymouth Belvedere II. After a lot of bending and contortions of my body, arms and hands, I was able to get the old speaker out. Now I have to put the new speaker in and quite frankly, I am not sure I can get it back in the way I took the old one out.

My grandkids are all grown, so I can't use their small hands and arms to get the speaker installed.

If someone has any useful tips, I would love to hear them.

On my 65 Belvedere I removed the radio, bezel, ashtray/cig lighter and I tied back any wires that were in the way. I may have also unscrewed the gauge cluster and pulled it down for some added room. It was not easy.
