Hello fellow BBodies! I am in the final stages of an ongoing, on and off again, 10 year restoration of a VERY SPECIAL car. This was purchased new in 1965 by my Grandmother, a petite 5'4" firecracker. No surprise she opted for the 500 series with the big block. She passed away many years ago and the car was driven by my Mom for about 8years and the put away in a barn for another 9 years. My Father attempted an upper end engine rebuild that was never completed and after many years of pleading the car was finally given to me. I was able to complete the started rebuild and got it running and drove it for a couple of years before starting the complete restoration project 10 years ago. Shortly after starting, I blew out 6 disks in my back, four surgeries, and was unable to work on it for a couple of years. Another two years of working on it, time and money, and hit with a heart attack and a five way bypass, another two years of not working on it. But, here it is finally! I believe another couple months and it will be on the road again after a Very Long 10 years. I know Grandma is grinning.
