The turn signals on my `65 coronet will not cancel, so, with the help of the 1965 Coronet/Dart service manual I took the assembly apart. The switch appears ok, and so does the cancel cam. The manual mentions a cancelling finger, but doesn`t show it. The person I bought the car from said he restored the steering wheel. I imagine the part is missing. Does anyone know about this and where I may get one? Thanks.

Read the manual as well and I am also stumped, here is a picture but no mention of a cancelling finger. Good luck, I'm sure somebody here will help you out.

The general term for that part is a "cancellation cam". I believe it is actuated by the part in the drawing marked as Cam 8-50-126.
