Hi all from NZ.
Started rebuild on my neglected coronet. Striped 4 paint. Panel work all done.

Welcome, looking forward to more progress and more pictures.

Will sit a little lower than this

31 spline with Detroit locker 325x50x15 Hoosier

15" of inner guard tires have plenty of room

Have brought a complete interior kit & had the seats & console done. Door panels are next. Dash has been painted & a new pad fitted.
Stripped speedo & heater control face panel but the stripping process has damaged the surface :mad: Can anybody help with some good used face panels

My dash is in the same situation as yours. It's in my basement and I just sprayed it the same color. Looks identical. I'm waiting to get my gauges/bezels back from being refurbished by Gcar in Wa.

Hey joe great taste in colour. This is the engine i pulled out. On the 1/4 it would push her to a flat 12 or with a shot of nos a 11.01

Has 30 over JE pistons & a solid cam. 10.4 compression. Ran 3500 stall & 4.56 diff gears with 325 hoosiers.:)

Dug the bonnet out of hiding in the roof. Its fiber glass & im not sure if i should go with this style scoop or change it to a old ram charger type. Car goes in for paint next week.
What do you guys think. The other scoop Is sitting on the boot of my other car for photos only.

Great looking Coronets 426 wedge and SSR , Love the black cars! Welcome to FBBO 426..

Thanks guys. Have started to get some colour on. My son came back from Austraila to paint it for me. Paint will be finished next week.
Starting to see it finished after having it sit in the garage in peices for more than fifteen years

nice project. sure doesn't look like there is much clearance with those back tires.

hI thanks for the comments. Back wheels have full suspension travel & no guard rub. Will be set up as low as possible when finished.

Paint finished tody. Will get some pics up soon

That paint looks like it went on really nice, wow. Good work.
