Need to know if the complete dash housing can be remove from a 65 dodge coronet with out removing the winshield. I know 66 and up winshield need to be remove before dash can be remove. Any advised will be apreciated.

I have a 65 Coronet 500, No you do NOT have to remove the windshield to remove the dash, I've done it. That being said, I haven't put it back in yet :-) I ask this same question and too got mixed responses. It would be easier to remove the windshield. To remove the screws adjacent to the windshield use a brake tool, it has just the right bend in it to make the removal possible. Mine is out, primered and almost ready for paint.

You gotta 65 Coronet and you're in Georgia? Me too. I'm in Jones County, where you bees?

If ya want a fight, leave the windshield in, otherwise take it out. Having it out also allows you to look at the channel and fix any cancer if ya find it.

5.7 hemi is right, I only left mine in because the car is being worked on 'outside' and I didn't want the hassle of trying to cover to keep the rain out. If the car had been inside (where the 73 Dart is located :-) ) then I too would have removed the windshield.

Yes for some dumb a.. reason I've decided to restore 2 at one time, in my spare time of course :-)
