Does anyone have a 65 Belvedere with a padded dash? I'm planning on installing one in my car. I have the dash and a pattern for the holes for the installation. Here is the question. The pad has a flap that will be held under the molding above the gauge cluster. How is it attached where the molding ends above the radio? Is it just folded over and glued or is there another piece of molding like in 64? Can someone take a picture of how it attaches above glove box door? Looking forward to seeing old acquaintances at Carlisle. Thanks

I just loosened the molding screws and tucked the flap in. It worked ok.

Is there another molding piece? My molding ends above radio and does not extend above glove box door on a Belvedere. I think Dodges had molding above glove box.

May be so. Yes, Mine is a Polara 500 and has trim all the way across. Hopefully someone else will comment.

Yes, my '65 satellite has a chrome trim piece there to hold that end of the padded dash in place. I have a spare of the metal piece that was in the padded dash with the clips but not the padded dash part. I'm not sure if I have a spare of the part that extends below from the radio bezel over above the glove box.
