I am in the process of assembling a 67 coronet that had been someone else,s project before I got hold of it. In checking out the grille fitment it appears perhaps a 66 coronet header panel (for lack of a better word) was used because the headlight gill buckets don't line up with the holes in the header panel. Any 66/67 b-body folks familiar with this arrangement. Did dodge use a different headlight offset form 66 to 67? I have an assembly book but it is not real clear on this particular setup.

Post a picture of what you are talking about and I'll go thru my pics to see if I have anything that may help. I think the 66 headlights mount differently than 67 if I remember correctly. It's been awhile so I may be wrong. I just receintly assembled my 67 grill.

The buckets are different, 66 allowed for for the blinkers and the headlights were more inboard. Look at the hood line... I'm not sure but maybe they replaced the fenders???

Thanks, I will get some pics this week and post them but I am thinking they probably did replace the fenders and use 66 fenders because the fender mounted buckets are more inboard. Paint is already complete so it looks like I may have to fab up alternate mounting system if I am going to use my 67 grille assembly.

Here are some pics of my 67 fenders and core support.

As far as the buckets are inboard I'd say that's a 66...I'll try to mock mine up this weekend and take a pic....
