I am working on a 66 dodge charger and the customer wants to put an AC unit on it. It is a non ac car and I was wondering what would be the best choice for a complete kit?
So far, I'd advise against Vintage air.
I went with Classic Auto Air and found that their instructions were much better. The fact that the CAA kit had all the fittings all ready to go through the firewall really simplified the installation process. With the Vintage system, I have to figure out how to make lines to fit between the evaporator and the firewall. It is cramped in there.
We went with the classic auto air. In my opinion it’s garbage i had to do a lot of modifications, and currently a micro switch actuator that opens the door from defrost to heat is not working.
