Looking for a part or picture of the cover for heater air unit. This is on the front end under glove box of unit. What covers the hole on the front? All i see is the fan inside. No cover About a 9" sq opening showing. Need some help.

The fresh air door swings to close off cabin air. The door is blocking fresh air off in your picture. Its attached to arm and vacuum actuator in your picture

Here's a page with a 70 ac box (similar design) where you can see the door/flap. It's controlled by the vacuum actuator and arm with the blue arrow. X marks the door/flap inside that opening. I don't belive there is a cover on the front opening.

That is a non-AC box. Now you are going to make me go out to the garage to look at mine to refresh the memory.

That was of little help - I forgot about the outer housing and cover with the right under-dash vent. Here is a drawing out of the service manual but I agree with Sam69Sat - I don’t remember a grill on mine either - just the opening to recirculate air With the vacuum operated door.
