How tight should the front axel nut be.

The front wheel bearing retaining nut should NOT be tight. If you have a FSM, the procedure for adjusting the retainer nut is outlined. The tapered front wheel bearings need at 0.0015" - 0.002" end play...do not run them tight or the bearing may fail.
