What is everyone using for 66 Satellite 1/4 panel replacement or repair work. I see full lower 1/4's on Ebay, but are they crap? I see wheel openings and lower rear sections. Is everyone piecing those together? What about outer wheel houses?

I put lower 1/4 panel on my 65 satellite from Sherman associates. they have a web site. the panel fit prefect. never did one before. the car is about 2 weeks away from paint. see some of my old posts. good luck with yours I also used there floor pans in the front and they look great

There are two panels available.

One is decent but not perfect (probably the Sherman one).

One is total crap. It's flat instead of radiused.

- The full lower 1/4s available from JC Whitney & on eBay are flimsy...they are junk.
- The pieces from Sherman are thick and do match up. You may find them listed through Summit, Jegs, Amazon(?), etc. cheaper than direct from Sherman Auto Body Parts.
- A lot of us pieced those together.
- Outer wheel houses are not available. I ordered outer houses for a `67 Dart and the body guy cut patch pieces out of it.

A couple of recent threads on this very subject:

Ping AMD...and send Rick@Laysons a private message! On one of the posts he states he wants to know the interest in these panels.

My good deed for the day is done!
