'66 Satellite trim question

Just curious, was the bright trim that runs along the top edge of the fenders/doors/quarters an option on a '66 Satellite? I see quite a few without it and I always thought it was standard on them. Thanks.

Yes it was standard. People remove the trim to paint and leave it off.

Guy on ebay had a ton of trim but haven't ad in awhile. This ad is for a 426 hood ornament but he had a ton of trim.
