67 bullet turn signal lens

The orange lens in my turn signal light just fell out. Anyone else ever have that happen, and how did you fix?
I was thinking just a couple dabs of clear silicone on the inside of the housing, and push it in. Think that's good enough?

Ok, that's another option I didn't think about. Thanks!
As far as paint, previous owner had a REAL nice Earl Scheib scuff and shoot over the original paint that is now all oxidized , so it looks like a complete strip is in store this winter. This summer, I'm just gonna drive it. Just got the new motor running, and I'm pretty happy with it so far.
