Thinks this is shows ok. Red is the light. Blue is the plug.
I was looking for that lead to plug a light in, but didn't see it. I will have to look again. I wonder if all rear taillight harnesses would have it.
That wire comes from the front over top of the wheel well.I was looking for that lead to plug a light in, but didn't see it. I will have to look again. I wonder if all rear taillight harnesses would have it.
You ever think about just buying a fresh rear light harness? If you have wires looking like that where you have access and see them, vod only knows what the rest of that’s harness looks like.Yesterday I had no power at the resistance wire and it was not in good condition, so I changed it but the lights still did not work with the light switch on. I then removed the tape around the cluster of wires and found some bare wires, hard and dry ( see photo) , which I cut out about 12 inch section and replaced with new wires. Still nothing. The wires all connect to that breaker in the driver kick panel, which I replaced during my restoration. I think the wire for my tailights needs to be replaced all the way from the trunk to the kick panel. I didn't have time to check the B-2 terminal of the light switch. The headlights work just fine, so the B-1 wire has power. I have a show this Saturday so I will work on it next Sunday. Thanks to all for their input. I'm glad I have brake lights and turn signals.

That was when I took it all apart. I cleaned/installed good wiring and wire shroud. You ever think about just buying a fresh rear light harness? If you have wires looking like that where you have access and see them, vod only knows what the rest of that’s harness looks like.

Thanks. Looks like the switch is a little different than a door jamb switch. And I see the light itself goes into those holes. . I can’t find an OE reproduction light, but I should be able to set one up with some aftermarket stuffTrunk was full of crap but here's pics

Yes it is.It’s all ok now?
I bought the rear light harness for my 67 so I can add a console to my car. Is that hard to switch out? It’s a shame I have to do it, the harness is in great shape.Yes it is.
