67 gtx grill emblem

hi guys, i just got my grill emblem back from the local chrome guy, now comes the challenge of painting the red white and blue areas.... has anyone done this that can give me advice, like how do i prep the shiny chrome area and what about primer and where can i get paints to match the factory colors, i was thinking about a hobby shop that has aerosol paints. i would have to tape areas really carefully. thanks in advance...Rich

try to find a coat lapel pin shop that can enamel the colors.. or you can mask and spray..with a rattle can.. anything painted over chrome will peel at some point.. its a good area though.. where nothing rubs the colors.. dont sand.. it wont help..
