67 GTX headliner - package tray joint

Does this look right? Is there some sort of trim that belongs here? One on driver side is coming off so before reattaching it I thought I would ask.

Doesn’t look right. No trim goes there, headline comes down the side. Panel and onto the flat package tray, then the cardboard slides over the top of it.

I have never saw that before. On all my 67's headliner comes all the way behind the package tray. The package tray has a vinyl wrap on the ends that mates against the headliner.
