-68 383 crank

So i found i guy tha got a crank from a 383 he's says that he dont remember if it's from a -65 or a -71. Are they different from a crank in a -68 like mine? Do they have numbers on them to use as a guide?
 
I doubt it matters much. What sort of build are you using it for, bone stock replacement??
 
71 - 383 is the only year they were made cast - for a low performance engine. All others are the same. I'm pretty sure anyway. The difference is obvious, wide ground line vs skinny casting line along the form.

FYI the 361 is the same as the 383 too. 361's are steel.

Wide parting line on the middle throws, plus the way the counter weights look too...
