He’s referring to the curve of the bezel in ‘68. Different car lines had different round bezels in ‘68. I’m not sure of the answer, sorry.
The round bent ones were found on Darts and Chargers...Hers a side view of the 2. You can see the bend, that lines up with the quarter panel break.

Are you saying, my 68 net did not come with the bent style ?The round bent ones were found on Darts and Chargers...
I believe that all of the round flat ones were found on the remaining A&B-body cars.
C-bodies had the square ones.
Aaron is totally correct. In my "limited memory " , curved in frt&rear on b-bodies. Definitely on the rear. There is a "curve" on the fenders of them.Care to chime in, @oldbee ?
Plymouth and Dodge were round. Chrysler / Imperial were square for 1968. Don't recall any exceptions. My 68 Road Runner has Round and my 68 Three Hundred has square ones Good luck. Does Murray Park in Ohio have any for B body (since Plymouth used round ones on C Body I believe)Need to purchase rear side marker for a 68 GTX, I see they offer flat or round style, are they referring to the lense ? Also where is the place to buy a quality piece.
TIA
69's are reflectors 68's are lightsThe side marker on your '68 is round now isn't it? "68's are round, '69's rectangular.
