Only reason I suggest going with a OEM style is that I have bought what you are looking at and was not happy with it. Keep shopping you might find a nice used one for a decent price. You’re right, thanks

I think I better take it apart first to see exactly what I need. The mast spins, but doesn’t lift out, I need to see why.Only reason I suggest going with a OEM style is that I have bought what you are looking at and was not happy with it. Because you need the castle but wrench to removal tool so you don’t bugger up your paint and those are on eBay pretty cheap to buyI think I better take it apart first to see exactly what I need. The mast spins, but doesn’t lift out, I need to see why.

If you have a needle-nose Vise-Grip pliers, that should work too. Get it in 2 opposing notches and get it tight, it should hopefully unthread. That's how I re-installed mine. I had my daughter with her thin arm & hand holding the base on the inside of the fender with the door partially open while I tightened it down.Because you need the castle but wrench to removal tool so you don’t bugger up your paint and those are on eBay pretty cheap to buy
Thanks Mike. I need to proof read more before posting"nut"
