Need help.
I took the brake pedal assembly apart to blast, clean, and paint. I took mega pictures as I took it apart but never noticed the bracket for the brake light switch did not line up with the pedal arm.? It was not running when I pulled it out so don't know if it was not working to begin with. From the pictures do I have it put together right? Is the plunger on the switch supposed to make contact with the pedal arm? Is my clip just bent?

Thanks

Don't worry about it. It actually hits the back side of the master cylinder push rod , Might have to tweak it a bit. Your looks fine, it will work.

Yep ! The master push rod has a flat spot where the switch contactsit. Looks like you may need to Tweak yours alittle.
