Couple questions for you guys:
1) What is used to lubricate a manual steering box on a 68 super bee? tried searching and couldn't find anything, nothing in the owner's manual... I unscrewed the cap in mine and all I found was a nasty, old brown looking grease...would they take 80W90 gear oil?
Seemed very dry and with the front wheels off the ground the steering box was LOUD when turning the wheels

2)Beginner question: is normal 80W90 limited slip gear oil ok for a 3.23 sure grip? Do I need to add limited slip additive or is the stuff already in the gear oil ok?
thanks

Grease goes in the box, not gear oil and you need to add the limited slip additive to keep the SG from chattering. I've used STP in a pinch......actually, the STP works better than the additive in my 2000 Durango with the Track Lock pos.
