Anybody know of a decent cam for this engine with a 106-108 LSA? Going into a 71 B body with headers, fresh 727 with 2500 stall, 3.23-55's (haven't decided yet), might mill heads .020-.030". Appreciate it

Heres what Jones came recommended. I have not purchased as of yet.

The catalog options for smallish 108lsa cams for BBM are pretty limited.

Isky has several……Howard’s might show something.
And of course your favorite cam grinder would be happy to grind up whatever you want.

My suggestion would be to keep things on the small side.
Like mid-2 teens @.050 at the biggest(like a 264-Mega cam)

Was just looking at the Hughes SEH 1620BL-12 for shits and giggles....shows 216/220 @.050

While I don’t think it’s “necessary” for your application, you did say 106-108lsa…….and that Hughes cam is a 112.

I’m sure they could grind you one on a tighter lsa.

Besides, it’s not all that likely someone will actually have a small, tight lsa, BBM cam on the shelf……..so it would need to be ground anyway.

Yeah this looks to be a more realistic cam for what I'm doing. Just like the rest, just trying to squeeze out what I can with what I got. Want to make as much power as possible, keep the driveability, vacuum, etc and it's a "Chrysler" cam. 2500ish stall if I didn't already mention it

What about the old Purple Shaft .474? 6pk cam in the old DC or Mopar Performance cam. Good vaccum ( for power brakes if you have them. Used this cam in my old 100% stock 70 Charger and was pretty happy with results in the day. Nowadays in the RR I use the .484 and mods that are required with that cam (gearing, stahl, and other misc bolt ons) just what works for me
