'69 Air Grabber question

I'm slowly reinstalling my car's air grabber set up. My question....Is there supposed to be a hose running from the air cleaner base to the right valve cover? Included are pictures of what I have.

Left valve cover.. but ya! That current hose is from a '70 right hand breather hose that would have been used on a dual snorkel cleaner, or an original '69 non silenced cleaner base and not an N96 hood.
