A radiator yoke is the same as some call the radiator support. It's the pieces of stamped and welded sheet metal which "yokes" the radiator to the car itself once the "support" is inserted between the front inner fender supports and tacked into place... hence the term "radiator yoke". Not to be confused with a drive shaft yoke or an oxen yoke.
It was painted flat or satin black at the factory along with the pieces behind the headlights.
Sorry for the confusion.... I've always called it that and heard it called that. Maybe it's a F**d or C***y term that I picked up over the years.
I'm just want to get it painted back like it should be before finishing the restoration. I didn't take any before pics and the 4 yrs it was disassembled for resto makes my memory go bad. I'm getting old and cant remember a whole lot these days.
