69 Charger/Coronet Throttle linkage clip or? at firewall

Looking for a pic or some help with how the throttle cable attaches and stays attached at the firewall. Is there a bolt or clip or something that keeps the cable from moving around inside the cut out for it?

And can anyone take a pic of the linkage on the firewall on the inside of the car? I'm wondering if I put the cable in the wrong way. Pics would help alot!

Yea, it appears you have a C clip on the inside! I knew I was missing something.

Not off hand. Take the cable too O'Reilly's or Autozone for fit. It goes on hard.

I had this issue about 2 months ago. I looked ALL over and could not find anyone selling that little clip. The OEM one looks sort of like a "C" with a little 90-degree tab on it for pliers. Anyway, I bought another cable just to get that clip.... the hardware store C-clip looks like it works just fine too.
