For Sale: Not Mine 69 Coronet vert on CL

Not sure what photos you are looking at....looks legit to me.

That engine has been repainted, most likely outside of the car. You might pull that off with careful masking, but most wouldn’t go to the trouble. I’ve seen top side painting and you can tell from the bottom.

All kidding aside.....to me that looks like a survivor going by the pictures. If is not, then someone out there is very talented.....it's not the usual "Blow -n-go" re-spray if it ever did get one.

those seems and bolts looks crisp and factory to me - very hard to replicate that look....

As I said, that core support has been painted and was pointed out likely changed. Hood spring painted. Wheel wells don’t look clean enough for low miles. Some of the trim doesn’t either.

It looks like a Mallory distributor, different leads and the top end has been removed for possible valve job in the past.....that doesn't make it a restoration job. Some Day 2 stuff going on or minor maintenance. The body looks OE.

And the insulation is gone from intake. This is all why I don’t go for any marketing claims. People don’t know things to begin with, make things up to puff up a sale, or go by hearsay from people who also didn’t know what is what or were around the car in the past.

Make no mistake, this car isn’t a survivor and no telling what you’ll find once there. Could be a good car, just not a survivor by any definition other than an ambitious seller. Look at that tail panel.

The disc brake master, supposed to be a low mileage car, So I guessed the master is original. But it could have been changed along the way. Or the power booster could have been removed.
Wouldn't code B41 front disk brakes? B51 for power brakes ?

Wrong MC for '69 Coronet with PDB. The lines exit the MC on the engine side for the PDB application.
B41 would not be on the tag. B51, if so equipped, would be but but does not for this car.

As posted earlier, this car for sale has manual drum brakes.

Below is a pic of MC for 69 Coronet with PDB.
