69 r/r diff

Hi guys just wanted to check if a 8 3/4diff out of a 69 rr will bolt straight into my 63 dodge? I'm sure that I remember them being the same...would be better than the original 741 I'm thinking. Thanks in advance, Matt

Bolts right in, but the overall width is a tad wider.
