A reality TV show, Misfit Garage, pulled a 69 Satellite ($2000) out of a swampy area, and re built the whole thing front to rear. They put in what appeared to be a 500 inch Indy headed stroker motor, Painted it Plum Crazy, and turned it into a Hot street machine. They Installed a F/G hood with a HUGE hood scoop. Then they sold it to a pretty blond for $37,000! How much is true? Don't know, but I think it helps the restoration cause, especially for old Mopars! The show is worth checking out. Really funny at times. That episode aired on 7th of March this year.

Yeah, I saw most of that too. The car did turn out great. I guess I missed the end of it, I don't remember seeing it get sold.

I have a '69 Sport Satellite, that is in the body shop. They had the show on at the body shop and were going to call me to tell me to watch it. I did see it and got quite a kick out of it.

I worked in film business for 30 years they are ALL staged shows. Some do build real cars but most use a "hero" car and a beater to work on then you can shoot an episode in 2 days. Its all about the budget
