70 Charger R/T Fender Tag on Ebay

I found this fender tag for sale on Ebay for a 70 Dodge Charger R/T. The listing says it is from a car that was scrapped in the 80's or 90's. Just thought I would post in the chance that they are full of it and the car may still be out there and the owner might see this.

Quite the business model they have, on the one hand the "tags" (they say they have more) are from recycled or scrapped cars but then they hide the VIN which would seem to indicate that they expect buyers to use them for nefarious purposes. I guess the concept would be that someone could fake a VIN tag to match the fender tag which seems a bit backwards unless they are also offering the VIN tag (perhaps on the back side of the deal).... Definitely up to something that they know isn't right (or legal).

I know this is a very contentious subject and I am sure there will be some "burn in hell" comments to come.
