70 Charger R/T question

Are the door scoops on a 70 Charger R/T an optional item? Could they be deleted if the customer did not want them or were they on ALL R/Ts regardless? TIA

That makes two of us. I ask because I'm building a 1:25th scale model of one right now & I want to build it pretty much as it would have come from the factory. Maybe I'll just leave them off.

I know some people like them. They're not ugly, I would just rather see the scallops on the doors.

I did own a factory U code black TX9 70 Charger R/T back in the mid 80's. It was my first car I bought at 15 years old back in high school. It did not have the door scoops and no signs on the doors that it ever did. (Doors may have been swapped at some point in it's life)? I prefer the 68-70 Chargers without them. However, they have grown on me owning so many 70 Charger R/T's over the years.
