70 Roadrunner 440-6 Factory Fan Clutch or a Solid Fan?

Can anyone verify if a 70 Roadrunner came with a fan clutch or a solid fan? This is an original six pack car with no air.....

Did you use a Hayden 2797, that seems to be the only one short enough to fit?

Cant recall right now. I didn’t have the clearance issue. There is a good thread on this here somewhere. Maybe by themechanic. Do your research.

Seems Hayden does not make a fan clutch that will work with the B body anymore, the 2797 is too long. I need one no longer than 2.70 inches it looks like to fit and still have some clearance....

I used the 070 from Tonys on my 70 six pack car. No fitment issues. (I don’t know what it came with originally.)
