Wow just now googled my VIN # and realized this is my 1970 RR. I bought it from a guy in lenexa ks. But talked to guy in oak grove,mo who previously owned it...small world. Recognized the pics and the story from the other forum. Any info on the car, buildsheet, original motor etc. Would be appreciated. I'll post pics tomorrow of my progress...thanks

WHERE ARE YOu IN MISSOURI ??

I think this car was owned for years by a casual mopar buddy of mine in lexington missouri

he was on this site for a while and i'm pretty sure there is a thread where he was going to start to get it runnin and then he up and sold it to the guy in oak grove a couple years ago ??

if i remember right glen had , had the car over 20 year or more and it had come from the east coast virginia possible ?

yeah thats the story i got..I bought it from a guy named Matt in lenexa ks. in may 2012, he bought it from Herbert in oak grove, and i talked to Herbert and he said car came from lexington mo and virginia to someone in military, never heard about the maryland auction thing until i seen the Thread lastnite. the motor was in pieces when i got the car and the motor is a 70HP 383. VIN is 0G221767 which does not match the car. the trans reads 8A327919 which is obviously a 1968 trans. 23 spline, came with 11in bellhousing, rear is aug. of 1970 489 case 3:55 suregrip. all body numbers match including door sticker but no buildsheet. the RR is up and running, i do believe the paint is original and fair shape. i have decided to wait on bodywork and paint till winter and drive this summer with the way it is and enjoy it!! The picture on the trailer is the day i bought it. oh and im from joplin mo area.

Hell's yeah drive that sucker for a while anyway. This is a WIN/WIN/WIN. You win, FBBO guys win cause we get to keep seein' the progress on this old Road Roaster, and hopefully some of the previous owners get to see it getting more lovin' and attention than they were able to do at the time.

It may be a A31 or A32 car? Mine came with 3.91 and 11" bell housing and flywheel, Hemi Susp, 26" rad, power steering cooler, etc.

Funny.....you know you've been here a while when you see the same car go through three owners. lol Have fun with her.

Im so glad someone loves my old RR It deserved better than sitting in my old garage. And yes all the paint was original except the front corner of the right front fender. LOVE IT

I don't think I've seen this many people from the same area on one post before. Awesome car and great story as it passes from hand to hand. Good to see so many Mopar guys here in MO

Hay vetteman That was my 70, the guy i sold it to said he would give me first crack at buying it back if he ever sold it. Two years later i see it changed hands not once not twice but three times. Joplin sold it to someone in WI. been trying to find him on here no name given.I would love to see it done. I got another project a 73 sat. or Roadrunner in waiting
