I have had my RR going 3 yrs now and I was at a show a while back and it started raining, it leaked in around the glass at the bottom. I could see it coming in and the car had no rust around the window frame when it was painted so no holes in it. What would I use as a sealer around the glass ? Would I use the 3m window weild on it? The guy glued the rubber to the frame and then put some inside the gasket for the glass and I don't guess he got enough in it. I don't want to have to pull the trim because I'm afraid I'll mess my paint up. So what are my options ? Thanks Ronnie

My guess is that it's leaking between the gasket and the metal, there is no lip down there and is supposed to have a 3/8 bead of sealer put down before the gasket (according to my service manual). If the leak is between the window and the gasket you should be able to seal it with liquid butyl or urethane, if between the gasket and metal then you'll have a tough time sealing it without removing the trim. Try some compressed air and water to find out for sure where the leak is but really if it was professionally installed they should fix it for free.

I had the same problem with mine. I purchased a flowable silicone and squeezed it out around the window where it was leaking and it actually worked. I bought it online but I can't remember where.
