G'day guys.

Just signed up (obviously), after finding info etc from threads on this site. Wondered why I hadn't joined earlier, so here I am.
I'm from Sydney, Australia and own a 71 Charger Superbee. Original car in citron yella, with 383 and 727. Motor is currently on my garage floor after firstly pulling it out to paint, then deciding to fix a noisy valve.....and then didn't stop. Heater is out, gearbox etc.

Keeping it pretty standard. It's already got headers and aftermarket ignition, and its a magic car to drive. Optioned with buckets and console auto - no A/C. It's my second 71 Bee, as I had a B5 blue one years ago which I sold as I got into bikes, but then got the car bug again. Had Aussie Mopars my whole life, including an old 62 Valiant I owned for 26 years that I got when I was 17.

Anyway.....that's the guts. I'll get some pics up when I can.

Welcome to fbbo from the other side of the hemisphere love that Aussie lingo! Need pics of your car we are car **** here!

Firstly, thanks for all the welcomes - that's great, much appreciated.
Secondly.....due to the typed onslaught, I present to you some pictures of my car. Struggled to find some decent ones, but these should do. The motor has actually had a lot more detail done to it since this pic, and is being put back together as we speak.

I've never really thought about it before, but that body style has an Australian look it.
To me anyway.
Like a Valiant Charger.
Except it's not a four door and way bigger than anything I've seen from down there.

Stay away from those Holden things.

Don't worry.....my mates and I have always steered clear of those "Holden things".
And the other Aussie Mopar you're talking about is the Valiant Hardtop. Big buggers, they are.
