Need a upper cowl panel for a 71 roadrunner

Check with Moparmarks. He will probably have one ready to go. I've bought some stuff from him. He's a good guy. Shoot him a PM.

73 cowl top is a different animal then a 71-2 is

i thought they were different?
72 up has the threaded rods for the brace

Yep 72-4 has the stud that is the main difference that I've found.
There is difference for the vent screens, kinda.
Early 71 only had screw holes.
Later in 71 they added the square holes for the snap in screens along with the screw holes. Most all 72-3 have both the square and screw holes except I did have a 72 that didn't have the screw holes. I've also had 74's without the screw holes. Have a 72 and a 73 with both right now. Have more in the yard that I need to check.

the 71 road runner upper cowl panel from aug 70 - feb 71 is difference too

Hello, I have a 71 satellite Sebring parts car with a nice upper cowling. I sent you a pm.
Thanks, Steve

Interesting. I have drill out a few 71 cowls and guess they were all the later ones. I checked my 71 RR built 10/70 and it does have the earlier one.
Thanks for the info.
