Ok, next question. Pulling the center section out of the R/T for a 4.10 switch and discovered the drums are 11x2 1/2''. I was under the impression this car should have 10'' rear drums. It does have front disc's. The fender tag code is 042 that translates to 3.23 open w/10'' drums. I have a facts and figures manual that says Disc brakes are an extra cost option in combination with 11x2 1/2'' drum-type rear brakes on R/T and Super Bee and 10x2 1/2 on other models. The drums have red paint on them, so im guessing they are off of something else. whats correct?

IIRC, the red paint was put on the 11" drums and possibly calipers was so the folks on the assembly line would know it was a high performance car. No telling if those drums came with it from the factory, if the dealer added them, or if a previous owner did what I want to do with my 1972 Rallye Charger, just add them.

BTW, are ALL the parts different from 10"? Also, is there any way you can get a paint code for the red or at least get a good RGB value for it?

I had a 71 SE Charger 383 and it Had Red Drums. I didn't know that was factory I thought the 'Previous owner had done that.

The general rule of thumb is that 383 and 440 cars got the 11" x 2 1/2" Rear Drums,
and the 318, 340, 360 cars got 10" x 2 1/2" Rear Drums.....
Before anyone chastises me -- that is the general rule -- 99 + % --
and the percentage of 11" lowers on Canadian cars.....

I guess the backer plate and shoes would be different between 10" and 11". Anything else?
