Hello,

Starting my first complete restoration on 71 Roadrunner 383 car. When the car came into my possession it was already stripped apart but everything seems accounted for as it was a complete car. Getting all of the interior pieces together and they’re in pretty rough shape. Has a factory blue interior and I’d like the car to be as original as possible. Starting with dash, the dash pad is cracked, brittle and faded. Wondering how close some of these reproductions are to original in quality. I would much rather restore it but not sure what my options are on that. Any help would be great.

Thanks

I know some here think it is a waste of money but for me the dash pad is one of the focal points of the restoration. I had mine restored at Just Dashes. They did an excellent job on it too. It was pretty trashed from the Vegas heat. They did a color match from the underside that’s never exposed to the sun.

I feel it was money well spent on my rotisserie restoration of every nut bolt and screw.
