Hey guys, I could use some help. I have a 1971 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus with a 383 that I had rebuilt and beefed up. I've been breaking it on, but run in too some problems. I have an oil leak coming from the back of the motor on the driver's side roughly. It was noticeably high on the motor. I replaced the valve cover gasket and tightened the oil pressure sending unit. Seemed to take car of the problem initially, but I've noticed that after the car has been driven for several minutes the leak returns and is pretty significant. In a few minutes on my driveway, after driving the car, there will be about a baseball size spot of oil. The oil doesn't have any gas or anything in it. I can't pinpoint where the leak could bring coming from. Some oil on the starter. Seemingly gets on exhaust cause smoke will come up. The car won't start again after driving for several minutes. Volts are within norms, but starter seems to strain to turn it over. Possible the starter is just crap, but oil could be getting over it. Either way I need some help figuring this oil leak out. I'll respond to any questions you guys might have. Thanks guys

Might want to look at the oil pressure sending unit. I've had the diaphragms
leak and puke oil.
Short of that, clean the engine start it up and look for fresh oil with a mirror and a flashlight.

Good luck!

Thanks rowdy. It isn't the Oil Pressure Sending Unit. Looking like the Rear Main. It's the only thing that fits the circumstances. Also, probably a bad battery. Thing won't sit above 12.1 volts.
