I had one in the late 70's and sold it to my brother in law. not sure what became of it. 383 auto.

I owned a 71 Charger back in the early 80's, it was a 383 2BBL AT, blue on blue (probably B5). I really didn't like it much because of the long flat hood. When this charger came available I wasn't real excited but my buddy (who found it) started sending me pictures of RT's and Super bees and I really warmed up to it.

Here is what I am starting with

1. Is the reflective Bee sticker on the fenders the same size as the one on the trunk lid?

2. are the fender emblems the same as on a 70?

3. were the louvered taillights an option?

4. Does the dash script have the same pin position as the "Charger" emblem on a non Super Bee?


1. Answer: No the trunklid has a smaller BEE.

2. Answer: No the 70 superbee emblems are pin-on and 71 is stick-on

3. Answer: Yes R/T taillights came with color keyed bumpers on a superbee

4. Answer: Yes that is correct

#2 has been covered for him!.. and correctly! I've had these OE's for 42 years and glad they're going to a good home...

At present I have acquired (or am in the process of acquiring) everything but the dash script. Thanks to Wayne for holding onto those fender emblems for 42 years!
