71 Window parts Help!

Hey guys, so I'm finishing up with restoring the interior of my 71 rr. I'm currently sort of at a loss on the windows. when I originally took apart my car I found that whoever worked on the windows in the past only used enough parts for 1 door window and made it work for 2. ie used only 2 glass to regulator mounts and one bumper stop per window instead of 4 and 2 respectively. saw online that there is a "kit" to replace these parts. (its the same kit for 71-72 b bodys on every site I've seen.) has anyone successfully used this kit. I bought it and either I'm an idiot or its completely useless lol. the bumper stops slides are correct but the 4 glass to regulator parts don't seem to make any sense... they aren't what are on the other door window and naturally as with most "restoration" parts didn't send any additional instructions or info. Any pictures,solutions or correct parts would be greatly appreciated... I have all the windows in my car in place except my drivers door and now I'm kinda dead in the water. Thank you.

they make some plastic junk that doesn't look close
in the kit that mega parts has that i have looked at.

as long as you have those round metal hold downs in the pic above, My plastic(or is it rubber?) gaskets that sanwhich between the metal hold down and the glass were all shot, I made my own outta some cork gasket I had lying around, worked great!! As long as you have something between the metal hold donw and the window I think anything will do...

This is exactly what I am missing the metal discs. anyone have any or know who remakes them?

I just put a set of the plastic retainers in the '72 Charger I am building at work. They went right in without a hitch, but I wonder how long they will last in comparison to the metal discs.
